Aunt Arctic's Article #36

Hello, penguins!

Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, I sat down for a one-on-one interview with one of the co-hosts of the April Fools’ Party: Jet Pack Guy! This week, we’ve received an interesting message, while also receiving word about two upcoming parties!

Birthday Bash!

An incredibly special date is on its way! May 6 will mark 3 years since our snowy island opened to everybody. With that being said, it’s time to celebrate!

I’m happy to announce that I’ve been planning an anniversary party for everybody and I cannot wait to hear your favorite stories on what made this past year so special! I’m also excited for you all to see the color scheme we selected for both the decorations and Party Hat!

If all goes according to plan, the festivities will begin on May 4. I hope to see you around! In addition to this, I heard that a new Penguin Style catalog will be released alongside the party! It may give you some insight as to what the first celebration of our fourth year together will be…

The Party Starts In May!

After the Medieval Party, Great Storm and April Fools’ Party seemingly happened back-to-back, it was only natural for our party planning committee to take a bit of a breather before going into their next project. However, they seem to be all caught up on rest, and are ready to take on another party!

What party will it be, you may ask? Well, as mentioned earlier, the upcoming Penguin Style catalog will provide you with a major clue as to what it is. I was thankfully able to speak to just one of our many hosts. Here’s what they had to say:

“This right here has gotta be my favorite party the island has ever thrown. I’ve been wanting to see it return for what feels like forever now! I’m so PUMPED to see everybody get blown away by what we’re about to put on. I gotta keep prepping for the party, so I’m out for now. Peace!” - ???????

Whatever it may be, the party is expected to arrive in late May. I hope you’re as excited as I am for it!

Ask Aunt Arctic

Dear Aunt Arctic,

What is it like bringing so much joy to all of the kind and unique penguins you see everyday, and for so long too?

- Ghostwriter

Dear Ghostwriter,

Thank you very much for those kind words! Knowing that I am able to provide both helpful information and a place for penguins to show off their creativity makes me incredibly thankful.

However, if it weren’t for all of you, I wouldn’t be able to keep doing what I do! So, while it feels great to spread joy to others, I owe you all a big thank you.

At the end of the day, you should always choose to spread joy. You never know just how impactful it may be for others.

Dear Aunt Arctic,

Will we ever have a color vote soon?

- blue234

Dear Ghostwriter,

We have not had a color vote for quite some time, since September 2022 to be exact! The winning color of that vote was Mauve, and quite a few penguins enjoy wearing that color to this day!

As for another Color Vote, I have not heard any news regarding it. However, if you and many other penguins want one, let your voices be heard!

With enough penguins campaigning for one, perhaps it may be time to hold a second Color Vote in the future. Best of luck!

Poetry

The snow begins to melt away,

And sunlight stretches through the day.

Puffles bounce in grassy glades,

While penguins shed their winter shades.

A red one zooms across the sand,

A yellow paints with practiced hand.

The green one floats up to the sky—

We laugh and wave as they drift by.

We meet by trees in Forest shade,

With lemonade and games we made.

No chilly wind, no snowball fight—

Just friends and fluff in morning light.

We sit, we chat, we watch the breeze,

It dances softly through the trees.

And in this spring, so bright and new,

I'm glad my puffles have friends too.

- Serendipityy

Wake up to snow and northern skies,

With puffles bouncing by my side.

Grab a coffee, hit the Dock,

Chat with friends around the clock.

Fishing rods and sled rides fast,

Frozen fun that's built to last.

From Snow Forts to the Beacon light,

Club Penguin’s home—day or night.
