Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we reflected on this past year on our snowy island, heard more about May’s party, and got an inside scoop on some new catalogs! This week, we’ll hear news about some changes at the Stadium & Stage, along with more Music Jam updates!

Calling All Soccer Stars!

The ice at the Ice Rink is beginning to thaw out, meaning that it’s time to roll out the turf at the Stadium! Soccer is making its way back, and with it a brand new Snow & Sports catalog! I spoke to a member of Team Blue to hear what they had to say:

“I’m so pumped that the Stadium is coming back! Don’t get me wrong, I love all sports, but it’s nice to have a change! Especially with this new catalog, I hear there’s all sorts of stuff in it, even more than soccer equipment! I can’t wait!” - Blue Team Member

The Stadium along with the Snow & Sports are set to be out sometime this weekend! Make sure you get your practice in before making your way onto the turf!

Secrets Revealing at the Stage!

‍

After nearly a four month run, it’s time to say goodbye to Rookie’s The Twelfth Fish and say hello to a brand new Stage play! I was able to run into none other than costume designer, Dot the Disguise Gal to hear more:

“This upcoming play is top secret! Consider that a hint… Anyways, I’m finishing up the costumes and I’m looking forward to having everyone participate in this production! Maybe I’ll even make some time to visit! - Dot

The new Stage Play is set to arrive alongside the Stadium this weekend! Both athletes and actors will have a busy weekend ahead!

Jammin’ Construction!

‍

With the new Penguin Style & Igloo Catalogs out to the public, it’s almost time to begin preparations for the Music Jam itself! Pretty soon, the island is going to become one big construction site. Of course, it’s all being run by everyone’s favorite hard working penguin, Rory! Here’s what he had to say:

“Music Jam is on the horizon! Here’s a little history for ya, my first appearance was actually back during the construction of the last Music Jam in 2022! Time sure flies, huh? Anyways, it’s a rather big project, so I’m still on the fence about whether or not I’ll have time to even have a break to visit everyone. Time will tell! Let’s get to work!” - Rory

The Music Jam construction is set to begin… you guessed it… this weekend! There’s going to be quite a bit of island activity in the coming weeks, which is always lovely to see.

Why is the Viking Helmet such an important clothing item?

Dear jazzylady4,

That is an interesting penguin! If I recall correctly, the Viking Helmet was one of the first sets of clothing to ever make its way to our island. It was part of a small batch of clothing.

‍

Viking Helmets have always been an island favorite, so more colors were made: such as the Blue, Gold and Solid Gold colors. And of course, when a penguin receives Penguin of the Week they’ll earn the Green Viking Helmet.

‍

Perhaps more colors will be made in the future! If you wear one, I hope you enjoy it!

Cadence has a wonderful set of songs! It’s quite hard to choose a sole favorite among the ones she’s currently made.

When I feel cheerful, I often enjoy The Party Starts Now or Best Day Ever. When I’m with my puffles, I enjoy Puffle Party (Gotta Have a Wingman). When I’m celebrating Halloween or the Holidays, I enjoy Ghosts Just Wanna Dance and Cool in the Cold, respectively.

I’m looking forward to seeing her perform during the Music Jam! I’m sure that DJ Maxx and the Penguin Band will have great performances as well!

Why? Well it's been three years!

Three years of fun down at the Cove,

Cooking up pizzas on a brick stove.

Tons of new furniture, clothing, and hairs,

And many new parties for all to share!
