Aunt Arctic's Article #39

Hello, penguins!

Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we heard news about some changes at the Stadium & Stage, along with Music Jam construction! This week, I begin a series of interviews with our hosts of the celebration, starting with Cadence!

Top Story

A Chat with Cadence!

Aunt Arctic: Hello Cadence, it’s so good to see you again.

Cadence: Right back at ya, Aunt Arctic! Glad to be here.

Aunt Arctic: It’s been a while since you last visited the island. In fact, the last time you visited was the Winter Fiesta back in February of last year. What have you been up to since then?

Cadence: I’ve been creating nonstop it feels like! Songs, dances and of course planning this party! I’ve been wanting to throw another Music Jam for a while now, and I’m so stoked that it’s finally happening!

Aunt Arctic: That’s great! I know many penguins including myself are quite excited to see what this fan-favorite party brings. Are there any details you can provide us?

Cadence: Well, there’s going to be a ton of performances! I know you’ll be chatting with our other hosts down the line, so I’ll just talk about mine! Look at that, I’m even rhyming when I’m talking!

Aunt Arctic: Haha, you’re quite the lyricist!

Cadence: I try! Anyways, my performances will be taking place in this all new arena, we’re calling it the Epic Show! There’s even a Backstage to hang out in as well. I’m so excited for everyone to check it out!

Aunt Arctic: How exciting! Are you able to provide any details on what you’ll be performing?

Cadence: You’ll just have to wait and see! I’m sure I can get you a VIP ticket!

Aunt Arctic: Oh, that would be marvelous! I appreciate that! Is there anything else you can tell us about the Music Jam?

Cadence: I don’t want to spoil too much, but I guess it’s not too much of a giveaway if I say that there will be TONS of cool stuff to collect, both new and returning! I’d suggest saving up on coins before the party begins!

Aunt Arctic: Sounds like a plan! Any idea on when the party will start?

Cadence: If all goes well, we’ll be beginning the festivities sometime this weekend! Stay tuned for more news!

Aunt Arctic: Wonderful, sounds good! Cadence, thank you so much for talking with me today.

Cadence: Thank you for having me, Aunt Arctic! Cadence out!

Extra Extra!

Ask Aunt Arctic

Dear Aunt Arctic,

I feel nervous chatting with other penguins sometimes. How would you recommend going about that so I can make friends?

- scaryspice

Dear jazzylady4,

First off, you are not alone! It can be quite difficult making new friends, but rest assured, it is not impossible!

Being an observant penguin myself, I always enjoy going around the island and overhearing conversations from other fellow penguins. If they were talking about a topic I enjoyed, I would casually join in on the discussion! If you see a penguin that seems interesting to talk to, a nice greeting will always go a long way!

It may take some time, but it’s absolutely doable! I wish you the best of luck.

Dear Aunt Arctic,

How can I make the most out of my experience here at Club Penguin?

- 3sixty

Dear 3sixty,

There are many different ways to make the most out of our snowy island! The first being meeting new friends, as I mentioned before, making new friends can start off with a nice greeting, and there’s plenty of nice faces to talk to!

Another great way to enjoy the island is by playing games and earning all sorts of stamps! If you collect all stamps in a game, you even get a double coin bonus when you play that game going forward!

Lastly, the monthly parties! A new party is thrown just about every month, and it’s a great way to have a good time. The Music Jam will surely be no exception!

I hope you enjoy your time here, best of luck!

Poetry

What better way to start a day,
Then fending off poor boredom's curse.

With instrument and time well spent,

Inventing tunes of score and verse?

And as we sway to rhythms sent to bending ears,

By beats coerced.

The feet will tap, the flippers clap,

This Music Jam will leave you quite immersed!

- Squawcrates

I remember the days of playing this game,

Finally I'm back, and it still feels the same.

Friendly penguins all around,

Their kindness will surround.

They always help you search and find,

So nobody is left behind.

Talk about things that fill me with glee,

It brings back memories and it's great to see.

Thank you penguins for all the support and love,

Below in the Mine or on the Mountain above.
