Aunt Arctic's Article #44
Hello, penguins!
Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it? Last time, I sat down with Captain Rockhopper for a little interview about his visit a while back. This week, we’ll take a look at the new Penguin Style, upcoming Igloo catalogs and an interesting sight in the Beacon Telescope!

Put On Your Puffle Looks!
A brand new Penguin Style was released this past weekend, and the focus is all about puffles! It would seem that a Puffle Party is on its way. I spoke to the Gift Shop Manager to hear what they had to say about this edition of the catalog:
“Yup, it’s all about puffles! The Puffle Party themed catalog is probably the most vibrant edition there is because of how colorful it is! I think what makes it great is that you don’t have to stick with one color for one puffle, you can mix and match as you please! I’m excited to see what’s in store for this year’s festivities.” - Gift Shop Manager
They certainly have a good point, I’m quite excited to see what’s in store for this year as well. Only time will tell I suppose! I’ll have to try and invite Puffle Handler herself over to see if we can hear anything more. Until then, the best thing to do is just get creative with these new clothes!
Puffle Sweet Puffle!
In addition to the new Penguin Style, new Igloo Catalogs and music are on their way as well! Word on the island is that they’ll follow a similar theme with the clothing catalog. I spoke with one of the island’s most professional igloo builders, Rory, to see if we could get more of an inside scoop!
“From what I’ve heard, these igloo catalogs will take a bit of a different approach from last year’s by including a handful of different things for each and every species of puffle! The music of course is as great as ever!” - Rory
The new igloo catalogs and music will be arriving soon! Get ready to further prepare yourself for the Puffle Party!
It’s A Bird! It’s a Plane! It’s a Rainbow?
Penguins from around the island have recently reported an interesting sight in the Beacon Telescope. Is it Rockhopper? Waitaha? No! It appears to be a cloud with a rainbow? I asked various penguins around the island to hear their theories.
“Maybe it’s a rainbow now that The Great Storm is over. I mean… that was like five months ago, but I stand by this theory!”
“I think it’s gnomes that barf rainbows!”
“It’s obviously unicorns, what other creature would reside in rainbow clouds?”
Whatever it is, it surely has the island’s attention! Stay tuned for further updates regarding this mystery!

Ask Aunt Arctic
Dear Aunt Arctic,
Where can I find more clothing options besides the Gift Shop?
- TheBatman06
Dear TheBatman06,
There are actually plenty of places to find clothes on the island, which is great for variety!
There is the Costume Trunk at the Stage, which includes fun costumes from the current stage play: The Secrets of the Bamboo Forest. There is the Music Catalog in the Lighthouse which has a set of musical instruments you can play. Lastly, there is the Snow and Sports catalog at the Sports Shop, which includes sporty clothing. At the moment, there is soccer, football, baseball and cheering gear!
If none of these interest you at the moment, they get recurring updates throughout the year. Meanwhile, the Penguin Style gets the most frequent updates, as it’s on a monthly schedule. I hope you find what you’re looking for!
Dear Aunt Arctic,
Which species of puffle is the best?
- TuxedoSam1
Dear TuxedoSam1,
To put it simply, there is no best species of puffle, they’re all magnificent! However, if you’re wondering which puffle best suits you, perhaps I can be of assistance! Let me try and capture each puffle with one word:
Black puffles are strong, blue puffles are loyal, brown puffles are smart, green puffles are funny, orange puffles are zany, pink puffles are active, purple puffles are fabulous, red puffles are adventurous, white puffles are shy, and yellow puffles are creative.
If any of these key words speak out to you, then you should highly consider adopting that species of puffle! And of course, you can always adopt more than one puffle, you can adopt up to 15 in fact! I hope you are able to find your perfect companion(s)!

Poetry
Snowy streets and lantern light,
Auroras dancing through the night.
Penguins waddle, puffles play,
In a world that never melts away.
The Coffee Shop smells warm and sweet,
Snowball fights on every street!
From sledding hills to frozen seas,
Adventure waits for you and me!

The igloos are white, the seas are blue,
And boy have I got a poem for you.
Penguins love to eat those fish,
The Pizza Parlor made them a dish!
And then you bop down to the Coffee Shop,
Order oh, order and never stop!
