Aunt Arctic's Article #50
Hello, penguins!
Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we took a look at Club Penguin’s 20th Anniversary Party, the host of this year’s Halloween Party and send out a big thank you! This week, I sat down with Gary for an interview!
Before we begin, I would just like to point out that this is also the 50th edition of the article! Thank you all so much for reading it all these weeks! This is only the beginning!

A Terrifying Talk with Gary!
Aunt Arctic: Hello, dear friend! It’s good to have a chat with you today.
Gary: The pleasure is all mine, Aunt Arctic! Thank you for having me once again.
Aunt Arctic: Now, it’s no secret that the Halloween Party is one of, if not your favorite party of the year. Why is that?
Gary: I have always been fascinated with the horror genre and all of the paranormal creatures that come along with it! Halloween just simply never disappoints.
Aunt Arctic: This is the fourth year that the Halloween Party has been held, and you’ve been a part of all of them! How has it been seeing this party evolve over the years?
Gary: It’s been quite wonderful! A big standout is definitely uncovering my Great Uncle Gariwald’s Haunted Mansion and discovering what lurks within there. Inventing a machine that transforms penguins into ghosts? GADZOOKS! That’s incredible!
Aunt Arctic: The intelligence certainly runs in the family! Is there anything else you enjoy about this party?
Gary: Well, recently I visited and decided to have a Night of the Living Sled movie and live-action marathon! It’s very enjoyable to watch the movies with fellow penguins and see their reactions as they watch!
Aunt Arctic: If I’m correct, you’ve created your very own Monster Maker 3000 inspired by the franchise?
Gary: Yes, down in the Secret Laboratory by the Haunted House, which was also inspired by the films. Fear not! It’s merely just a little practical joke. If you get zapped, you’ll be transformed into a Living Sled Costume! You can take it off at any time, and it’s yours to keep! In the end, it’s merely a little treat!
Aunt Arctic: Haha, that is quite funny. I may have to check it out when I can. Is there anything else to add before we sign off?
Gary: All I have left to say is that I hope everybody out there is having as much fun with this party as I am! It lasts until Sunday, so there is still plenty of time left to check everything out!
Aunt Arctic: I’m sure they are! Thank you for joining me today, Gary.
Gary: Anytime, Aunt Arctic.

Ask Aunt Arctic
Dear Aunt Arctic,
Why is Sensei the only gray penguin on the island?
- Tila
Dear Tila,
Sensei has actually been on Club Penguin Island for many years! With all of the time he’s spent on the island, it’s no wonder why he’s turned a bit grey.
Not much is known about his past. A couple years ago, the Dojo Courtyard was covered in snow and Sensei appeared to seek the help of island residents to dig it out. Once the work was complete, he soon unveiled Card-Jitsu and continues to teach the ancient art of the game.
Even though he may be an older island resident, he surely hasn’t slowed down. In addition to this, I don’t think he intends on doing so anytime soon!
Dear Aunt Arctic,
I’ve seen bat puffles all around, is there any way to adopt one?
- lilpuff67
Dear lilpuff67,
You’re not wrong, bat puffles are all over the island right now! They absolutely love the festivities of the Halloween Party, especially over at Lakeside.
Last year, Bat Puffles were able to be adopted once you completed your Island Quests. This year, they’re back, though I believe it’s an even taller order!
I don’t wish to give too much away, but all I will say is that you should surely work on completing those quests again! Afterwards, I would start catching ghosts in the Haunted Mansion. Check every nook and cranny both in the building and in the catalog within the Ghost Lab…

Poetry
From snowy shores to the Coffee Shop’s hum,
We tossed snowballs just for fun.
Puffles bouncing, colors bright,
Kept us company day and night.
Dancing at the Night Club floor,
Coins earned, then shopping for more.
Igloos glowing, friends would cheer,
Every login felt so near.
Pizza oven hot and wide,
Delivery runs with joy and pride.
Secrets hidden in the mine,
We’d dig for treasures every time.
Now the island’s gone, but not the song,
Our penguin hearts still sing along.
For every laugh and every friend —
Club Penguin’s magic never ends.
Waddle on, forevermore.

Where a penguin waddles, joy will be found.
On our happy little Island, friends all around.
Us penguins know how to celebrate and play,
Nobody does it better than the Club Penguin way.
I love our little world, of chit chat, celebrations, and glee,
I have nowhere else that I'd rather be.
Thank you Club Penguin for all that you are,
You remind me that maybe my childhood isn't so far.
A search on the web, a flap of the flipper,
Dress up at the gift shop and buy a new slipper.
A wonderful world for all penguins alike,
I love you Club Penguin and have a good night!
