Hello, penguins!
Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last week, I sat down with Gary for an interview! This week, we talk about the island reaching 1,000,000 penguins! In addition to this, the new Penguin Style and upcoming Igloo Catalogs take the spotlight!

Population: 1,000,000!
On November 3, our snowy island welcomed its 1,000,000th member to the community! It’s been an incredible ride over these past few years and it’s incredible to see just how much our home has grown!
To celebrate, the Town is holding a celebration! It will include special guests such as Bambadee, DJ Maxx and… Klutzy? Interesting! There’s even some goodies you can unlock to further join in on the festivities.
All of this will be occurring until this Sunday, November 16. A huge thank you is deserved to every single one of you for making our island such a wonderful place to be. Afterwards, it’ll be time to shift focus towards next month’s Holiday Party to close out the year strong!
Classic Fashions!
With Club Penguin celebrating its 20th anniversary and our island reaching 1,000,000 penguins, the Gift Shop is going classic for this month’s Penguin Style! I was able to speak to the Gift Shop Manager and here’s what he had to say:
“This edition is filled with all sorts of original pieces and secrets as well! Even the Penguins at Work section and backgrounds are throwbacks! One part of the catalog that really stands out is the Outfit of the Month. If you’re a fan of autumn, it is a must have! Be sure to get it before the December edition releases!” - Gift Shop Manager
Outside of Outfit of the Month and Penguins at Work, these items will remain available until February of next year, so you’ll have plenty of time to get them while they last! Enjoy putting your new looks together!
All Ready for the Fall!
With the Penguin Style’s Outfit of the Month having a focus on the fall, the brand new Igloo Catalogs are putting an even bigger focus on it! Things will soon be looking quite colorful at your humble abode.
These catalogs will feature classics and autumn-themed furniture, with the latter featuring some brand new pieces! There’s even word going around that there may even be a new location to settle into?
And of course, there will also be new music to select from as well! These tracks will feature some longtime favorites. Everything is set to become available next week, stay tuned for further updates!

Dear Aunt Arctic,
How did you make the most out of this year’s Halloween Party and what makes events like these so special?

Dear aureate dawn,
The Halloween Party is one of the most anticipated parties of the year! From the party itself, I think what I enjoy most is trick-or-treating. It’s so much fun to see so many penguins come together for some sweet treats.
However, my personal favorite part of it all is getting all cozy by my fireplace with my puffles and reading a good book. The storm makes home even more cozy than it already is! I could spend hours reading books during weather like this!
I believe what makes events like these so special is how involved the penguins of our community are. For this party, the main spots were trick-or-treating, the Dark Chamber and the Haunted Mansion. Making the most of all of them is rooted in being involved with the community and working together. That’s what I adore the most!

If you weren’t a writer, what would you do?

Dear sheepyhip,
Oh, wow! It’s quite hard to imagine a life where writing is not my passion. Thankfully here on Club Penguin, there are plenty of opportunities to find something you enjoy and thrive while doing so.
If I wasn’t a writer, I could definitely see myself working over at the Coffee Shop as a barista. I’d be surrounded by penguins, coffee, croissants, tea, scones, books and mancala! That’s quite the lineup!
Another possibility for me would be to work over at the Mine Shack and Recycling Plant. Tending the garden and keeping our island clean is highly important! Those are just two possibilities! Like I said before, Club Penguin is filled with them, which is a wonderful thing to have.
