Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last week, we talked about the island reaching 1,000,000 penguins, along with the November Penguin Style and Igloo Catalogs. This week, we’ll be discussing the December Penguin Style, the return of the Ice Rink and get our first glance at our upcoming Holiday Party!

New Fa-La-La-La Fashions On the Way!

As the most wonderful time of the year is on the horizon, it would make sense for it to kick off with a brand new Penguin Style catalog. Thankfully, the Gift Shop has that covered with new festive styles arriving very soon. Here’s what the Gift Shop Manager had to say:

“This catalog is all about the Holidays! From favorites to long-awaited returns, this catalog is a great way to kick off the season of giving! I personally enjoy this month’s Outfit of the Month and Penguins at Work, we can’t wait for everyone to see the catalog!” - Gift Shop Manager

The new Penguin Style is set to arrive sometime this weekend. It’s only the first of many different sets of items that will be available this upcoming month! Be on the lookout and get ready for the season!

Ice to See You Again, Ice Rink!

‍

After several months, the turf of the Stadium is beginning to freeze over into ice for the Ice Rink. It’s time to store away your soccer gear and bring out your hockey gear for the return of the classic sport!

‍

In addition to the room’s return, the Snow and Sports catalog will also be updated to include the appropriate gear. From home & away hockey jerseys, to ice skating and even figure skating gear, there will be a lot to choose from!

‍

For all you stamp collectors out there, the Hockey Team stamp will also become available. Be sure to round up some penguins and wear the same hockey jersey to earn it! The Ice Rink is set to return this weekend, just like the Penguin Style.

Holiday Party Planning!

‍

Our fourth annual Holiday Party is quickly approaching and I happened to receive an important letter regarding it from our host! Here’s what it had to say:

“Ahoy and seasons greetings, mateys! In case ye were not aware, the Holiday Party be fast approaching! Unlike most pirates who prefer to take, I prefer to give, and I hope ye will join me! There will also be plenty of ways to earn some goodies, whether it be through the Gift Calendar, Bakery, Santa’s Sleigh, Ask Santa and more! It truly be an exciting time, I look forward to experiencing it with me favorite crew once again!” - Rockhopper

That’s right! Rockhopper will be setting sail for the island later this month, and he couldn’t be more excited! The Holiday Party is set to begin later this month, and we will keep you posted for further updates regarding it when they are available!

As a matter of fact, it is paint! Penguins are able to change their color by purchasing them in the Penguin Style catalogs. The best part is, they are always available, so there’s no need to worry about missing any of them.

‍

Another great thing about the colors is that they are very affordable, each one only costing 20 coins! Once you purchase a color, it’ll go to the Colors section in your inventory, where you will be able to change the color you’re wearing.

‍

There are a total of 18 colors to choose from, so there are many ways you can change your penguin’s appearance. Colors are in your inventory forever, so if you ever feel like changing it up, you can do so instantaneously! I hope you find the best fitting color for your penguin!
