Aunt Arctic's Article #57
Hello, penguins!
Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we took a look at the February Penguin Style, a message from Bambadee, and the party announcement for February! This time, we’ll be taking a look at the upcoming catalogs for March, along with a look at two festivities being held later in the month!

Spring Into New Catalogs!
Brand new Penguin Style and Igloo Catalogs are on the horizon, with a bunch of different focuses for each of them! March is looking to be a bit of a packed month, so it only makes sense that the contents of these catalogs follow suit.
The spring season is just around the corner, and in addition to this two parties are on their way! More details on those can be found further down the article. These catalogs will have everything you need to get your penguin and igloo ready for both Spring and these two parties.
The Penguin Style catalog is set to arrive this weekend, while the Igloo Catalogs will be arriving soon after that. Don’t be afraid to get creative with how you dress your penguin or decorate your igloo!
Things Are Looking Lucky!
Things are beginning to look a lot greener on our snowy island. Word has been going around that a classic party is making a long-awaited return this weekend. This party being none other than the St. Patrick’s Day Party!
This nice little celebration was held on the island back in 2023, but it has not made a return since. However, after three years it is finally returning, and penguins everywhere are getting quite excited to see it happen.
Like the Penguin Style catalog, the St. Patrick’s Day Party is set to begin this upcoming weekend! A good chunk of the island will be green, so it is highly recommended that you do the same for your penguin!
Foolish Festivities Forthcoming!
An island favorite party is returning for its fourth consecutive year: the April Fools’ Party! This celebration is one of the biggest of the year, and it is certainly the wackiest! Everything on the island becomes unpredictable, but the one constant is that Rookie will be hosting! Here’s what he had to say:
“This party is my favorite of the year! You never know what the island is going to throw at you, and I can’t wait! I’d talk more but… I’m actually dealing with a bit of a situation regarding some of these famous box portals. I just hope they don’t make things TOO chaotic for our island.” - Rookie
It would appear that Rookie is cooking up some new twists for this year’s festivities! As for what they are, we’ll just have to wait and see. The fourth annual April Fools’ Party is set to begin towards the end of this month. It’s almost time to get silly!
Extra Extra!
Ask Aunt Arctic
Dear Aunt Arctic,
What are some ways I can have fun by myself?
- Boo Rock
Dear Boo Rock,
While spending time with friends is quite important, getting some personal time is equally important! Sometimes, it can be quite nice to just focus on yourself and enjoy whatever you please.
The island has plenty of fun solo activities for you to do! You could try on new outfits, decorate your igloo, take your puffle for a walk or even play games on the island. Honestly, the possibilities are endless!
Whenever I get some time to myself, I often spend it cozied up in my igloo by the fireplace reading a good book with my puffles beside me. It’s my favorite way to decompress and I try to end every day with that!
Dear Aunt Arctic,
What secrets lurk in the Boiler Room?
- Pimix
Dear Pimix,
While the Boiler Room may be a more hidden room compared to others, I don’t believe it has any secrets that are being kept from the public. However, I do have some interesting facts about the room!
The Boiler is the primary source for the island’s power supply, pretty neat right? In addition to this, it stores a whole bunch of documents, such as newspapers, to keep the island’s history alive! I think really the only secret is its entrance, which can be found somewhere within the Dance Club…
If you can’t find that entrance, then I would also recommend looking for anything interesting in the Plaza. Rest assured, I’m highly confident that nothing urgent would ever be hidden away from the penguins of our snowy island, just fun little surprises!

Riddles
Q: I’m weightless, you can see me with your eyes. If you put me in a barrel, I make the barrel lighter. What am I?
A: A hole!
- MissDaisyP
Q: I spin, but I don’t get dizzy. I glow, but I’m not the sun. Penguins love to dance around me. What am I?
A: A disco ball!

Poetry
Puffle puffle, what makes your fur ruffle?
Snuffle snuffle, a dark chocolate truffle?
Snowfall outside that our igloo roof muffles.
Puffle puffle, at my side with a shuffle.

Roses are red, the sky is blue,
I am a penguin, and so are you.
Waddling around from the Mountain to the Mine,
A snowy escape, a moment in time.
Sled Racing, Mancala, Find Four,
I tell myself, just one game more.
Penguins are kind, like sugar and spice,
They’re warm, even when the world outside is ice.
