Aunt Arctic's Article #60

Hello, penguins!

Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we took a look at what the month of May had in store for the island. This time, it’s all about the month of June!

Top Stories

Shopping Spree!

Last weekend, a bunch of new catalogs were released onto the island! These included the Furniture & Igloo, Penguin Style and Snow & Sports catalogs. Many penguins were scrambling to try and purchase themselves as many of these new items as possible.

For the igloo catalogs, the most recent editions focused on evergreen items, with a little bit of a fitness theme as well! New igloo catalogs for the month of June should be arriving soon as well! The Penguin Style catalog included many items to become your very best pirate self. Lastly, the Snow & Sports catalog featured soccer, football and baseball uniforms!

To celebrate the release of all these catalogs, the island’s first ever Double Coin Week was held to ensure that penguins could purchase everything they needed to in a timely manner. Normally, it’s only held for a weekend, but for such a big wave of items extra time was needed!

It's Time for Turf!

With the release of the new Snow & Sports catalog comes the return of the Stadium! The ice has melted and the artificial turf has grown in! Many penguins have been seen getting out to enjoy the fresh air.

While the Stadium is primarily suited for soccer fans, there are still other sports for penguins to partake in. As mentioned earlier, there are also football, baseball and even cheerleading uniforms available. So, if soccer may not be your favorite, you can still get out and enjoy the turf!

The Stadium will be around for the Summer & Fall seasons, then it will freeze back over to the Ice Rink. Be sure to enjoy the next several months and the (ever so slightly) warmer weather while it lasts!

Adventure Awaits!

There’s been a lot of buzz on our island regarding what our next party could possibly be. Not much has been revealed at the moment. However, there have been some clues as to what may be in store for us later in the month!

There have been two major hints to potentially showcase what could be coming soon. First, the most recent edition of the Penguin Style is primarily pirate themed. Second, I’ve received word from our beloved Captain Rockhopper himself that he is making his way towards the island!

Whatever it may be, I would highly suggest that all pirates be on standby! Knowing Captain Rockhopper, there is nothing he enjoys more than a good adventure. Well, outside of Yarr, the Migrator and our snowy island of course!

Extra Extra!

Ask Aunt Arctic

Dear Aunt Arctic,

I heard rainbow puffles were coming, when can I see them come to the Pet Shop?

- kcutie095

Dear kcutie095,

The rumors are true, rainbow puffles will in fact soon be making their way over to the Pet Shop! They were originally only available in the Cloud Forest during the Puffle Party 2025 & Festival of Flight, but soon they will join the island permanently!

Puffle Handler has been working with the Pet Shop staff to ensure that the addition of this species of puffle runs as smoothly as possible. However, from what I’ve heard, the wait is nearly over!

With this being a very special species of puffle, I hear penguins will have to truly showcase their loyalty before being able to adopt one. How exactly that will be done is still currently unknown, but it’s surely exciting!

Dear Aunt Arctic,

Are there any undiscovered rooms or places on our island?

- Fitbitboy11

Dear Fitbitboy11,

Throughout the years, there have been a handful of new spots that have unveiled themselves on our snowy island! It’s quite incredible to see just how much the place that we live in has grown!

Only time will tell if there are any other undiscovered places to see. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are, as the island quite often finds a way to expand! I wonder what kind of rooms they would be?

During parties, there also are rooms that are exclusively available for that occasion. For example, during the Festival of Flight we went into a Hot Air Balloon Ride up to the Tallest Mountain! So, if a new permanent room doesn’t reveal itself soon, at least there are those!

Poetry

Across the frozen sea,

From far and wide we come,

We waddle to the island,

To have a load of fun

With puffles at our sides,

We gather a coin or two,

We log onto Club Penguin,

And say hello to you!

- Oppoos

Snowflakes drift through pixel skies,

Blue and white in children’s eyes.

Coins that clink from games once played,

Old-time memories never fade.

In the town the penguins meet,

Waddling down the snowy street,

Pizza tossed and card games won,

Late-night parties full of fun.

At the dock the music plays,

Echoes from the older days.

Puffles bounce in every hue,

Tiny friends both wild and true.

Through the plaza, through the fort,

Every room becomes a port

For jokes and dances, songs and cheer,

Friends from far and friends from near.

Though the years may drift away,

Still the snowy servers stay.

Club Penguin lives on in hearts,

Built from pixels, laughs, and arts.
