Hello, penguins!

Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we took a look at what the month of June had in store for the island. This time, it’s all about what happened in July and what’s in store for August!

Island Infestation!

‍

During the month of July, the island had suddenly become infested with all sorts of different plants and bugs. It was up to us, Captain Rockhopper and Captain Waitaha to help our snowy island return back to normal!

‍

Over the course of several days, penguins set sail to a brand new island, Whirligig Island, to uncover its mysteries and see why it had arrived in our waters. It turns out, the island was an actual Whirligig Beetle! The poor big guy was recovering from being sick and injured from contaminated waters.

‍

After completing a series of tasks using several different tools, the resourceful penguins of our island were able to help restore Whirligig Island to its normal healthy state. With the bugs and plants returned, our island was able to return back to normal as well. Due to this experience, everybody learned to keep our waters clean and safe going forward! So remember, always put your trash where it belongs and not in nature!

BBQ Bash!

‍

Shortly after the restoration of our island, Cadence decided it would be fun to throw a quick little surprise event over at the Dock! The event began on Friday and is expected to last until later today!

‍

Known as the BBQ Bash, penguins were able to grill fishburgers, eat fishburgers and even… dress as fishburgers? Remarkable! In addition to this, they could dance, swim and even enjoy a whale of a time over at the Mega Whale!

‍

The island has seen a bit of an uptick with small special events like these, another one held earlier this year was Bambadee’s Super Awesome Friendship Party of Friendliness, hosted by Bambadee of course! Who knows what other surprise events are in store for the future? One thing’s for sure, they will all certainly be quite fun to attend!

Clothes and Furniture and Igloos! Oh My!

‍

It wouldn’t be a new month of exciting times on our island with a fresh set of catalogs of course! The July Penguin Style just released recently, but the August edition is quickly on its way with a bunch of new outfit pieces for penguins to try on!

‍

In addition to this, new Igloo Catalogs will be on their way as well. It’s almost time to decorate your home with some new furniture. You could even take it a step further by changing the igloo itself!

‍

And of course, new music will also be available for you to collect and add to your collection. There’s currently no word if there is any specific theme set for any of these catalogs. However, they almost never disappoint, so be ready for them when the time comes!

Dear Aunt Arctic,

After that adventure, Rockhopper and Waitaha certainly grew fond of each other. Do you think this will turn into a friendship, and will Waitaha become more open?

Dear Anti lola,

‍

It certainly was quite the adventure! Through trial and error, Rockhopper and Waitaha were eventually able to see more eye to eye by the time it all came to an end. It was quite lovely to see!

‍

Judging by the way they left things off, it would surely seem that the two captains are ready to begin a new friendship. Perhaps they may even go on an adventure together one day! At least, one that is more fun and less of a dire situation like we just had!

‍

It’s wonderful to see Waitaha become more open over the years. From being quite reserved during the Island Adventure Party in August 2022, to teaming up with us during The Great Storm in March 2025 and now being true friends with everyone by the time the Island Infestation concluded! It just goes to show you, if you give kindness out, it’ll often come back to you!

What’s the craziest myth you ever heard of about Club Penguin?

Dear Pilgor,

‍

There have been quite a few myths that have traveled through the beaks of our island residents. Over the years, some myths have proven to be true, while others have still yet to be investigated.

‍

For example, one myth that ended up being true was the discovery of the Rainbow Puffle! They were rumored for years, and they were finally unveiled during the Puffle Party in September 2025. Now, they currently reside in the Pet Shop, waiting for new homes! There’s even rumors of a gold puffle as well, but nothing has been confirmed yet!

‍

I think the craziest (and most popular) rumor that I have heard going around the island is the speculation of the Iceberg being able to be tipped! Many have tried, but to this day no group of jackhammering penguins have succeeded. It would be magnificent if it were accomplished one day, only time will tell!

As the fish are pulled from the Lodge below, 

I sit atop a hill with snow. 

Enjoying sounds from the rickety lift, 

That pulled me up some years ago. 

As Guides and Agents roam the ice, 

and new penguins ask them for advice, 

I realize that as do dice. 

I rolled and landed not once but twice. 

The first as a grasshopper filled with glee, 

Now a mirror’s reflection and here stands me. 

Watching from the hill above, 

Now an elder penguin filled with love.
