We have some wonderful news to share with you today. We would like to officially announce that Community Events and the Penguin Art Wall are returning in early May! For those of you who are unfamiliar with how these features work, we’ll provide you a quick rundown right here on this post!

Community Events can be found on the bulletin board at the Lakeside. Once you walk up to it, you’ll have the option to create your own event, which will take you to a Typeform document. To complete it, all you have to do is provide your penguin name, the date and time you wish to host your event, the location of your event, the name of your event, and lastly a brief description of your event. Once you complete the form, it will be submitted to our team for review! The Community Events board will be updated every Monday.

As for the Penguin Art Wall, that can be found in the Book Room. You’ll notice some pieces of art on the far right wall of the room. Once you click on them, you’ll be able to view the art as well as submit your own artwork. This will also take you to a Typeform document. To complete it, all you have to do is provide your penguin name, a file of your artwork, confirm that it was made by you, and allow us permission to potentially put it up on the wall! We plan on updating the Penguin Art Wall every first Monday of the month.

We hope you guys get creative with your events and/or pieces of art! We have also provided links to our Typeforms right here on this post in case it’s more convenient. There’s a little surprise planned for when we launch our first set of events and pieces of art, so keep an eye out!

Lastly, we would like to announce that Leaderboard rewards are back! These can be earned by earning the most wins during a week of playing Find Four, Mancala, or Sled Racing. If you earn a spot in the top 10 of any of these games, you’ll earn the Leaderboard Star stamp! If you place first in any of these games, you’ll earn the Top of the Charts stamp and Trophy as well! Leaderboards reset every Monday, and prizes will resume in early May.
