Hello Penguins!

It is once again time for one of the most well-beloved parties of the game: The Fair! We’re very happy to be celebrating the fourth annual occurrence of this fun filled party. This blog post will be your guide to make sure you make the most of everything it has to offer!

Island Quests, Stamps & Mascots

Let’s start with the basics. As with just about every party, island quests are available to complete and stamps are able to be earned. For this party, there will be 21 Island Quests available. Some of these quests will be recognizable from last year, while others are brand new! Whenever you finish a quest, you will earn coins. The more difficult the quest, the more coins you will receive. Here is a little guide to help:

• Easy Quests: 50 coins (Green)
• Medium Quests: 100 coins (Yellow)
• Hard Quests: 150 coins (Blue)
• Extreme Quests: 350 coins (Red)

When you complete all the quests, you’ll earn a brand new custom prize. In addition to this, you’ll unlock the ability to redeem one last very special prize at one of our prize booths.

‍

During the party, you will also be able to earn stamps. These include Snack Shack, Explorer, Happy Room, and Party Maestro. You’ll also be able to earn stamps by meeting the mascots of this party: Bambadee and Rockhopper. Bambadee will be giving away his wonderful Stowaway Giveaway from 2022! Meanwhile, Rockhopper will have a brand new custom giveaway! There will be both random and scheduled meetups. Here is the list of the upcoming scheduled meetups. Please remember that these are posted in Penguin Standard Time! If you are having trouble converting time zones, head on over to the Clock Tower in the Snow Forts!

Games, Prizes & Double Tickets

All of your favorite games from last year’s Fair are returning: Balloon Pop, Feed-A-Puffle, Memory Card Game, Puffle Paddle, Puffle Shuffle, Puffle Soaker, Ring the Bell, and Spin to Win. These games are the key to winning some incredible prizes, as they are not paid in coins, but rather tickets! Some of these prizes are classic items, while others are custom!

The better you play, the more tickets you earn. There are three total prize booths. The first at the Forest, second at the Great Puffle Circus Entrance, and the final one at our custom Wagon Wheel Entrance room. The last of which will be discussed more shortly. Every prize is different compared to last year’s Fair, so old and new players will find items to enjoy!

As a reminder, your ticket count WILL save after you log out of the game. No need to re-earn them!

Lastly, this year we’re introducing a brand new feature for fair games: Double Tickets! Everyday during the party, two different carnival games will take the spotlight in our Double Ticket Interface located in the top right corner. When a game has flashing lights surrounding it, that means playing it will earn you double the tickets! The two carnival games with this feature will change everyday, so keep your eyes peeled!

Wagon Wheel Entrance Room

Returning to this year’s Fair is the Wagon Wheel Entrance! In addition to accessing the third prize booth, players will be able to watch the Penguin Band perform some catchy tunes. I even hear they will be giving away a background by watching them! Unfortunately, their schedule is too full for them to waddle around the island like Bambadee and Rockhopper, but let’s hope their schedule clears up for some visits soon.

Apple bobbing has also returned with brand new prizes! Once each day, players will be able to bob for eight apples and in exchange have the chance to earn some cool prizes. Prizes range from tickets to apple-themed items! What fair would be complete without apples? The answer is none, of course! It is highly important to know that once you have bobbed for one apple, you must complete the rest of your bobs BEFORE exiting the room! Otherwise, you will have to wait until the next day to bob again.

Lastly, like the title of the room says, it is of course the gateway to a brand new attraction called the Wagon Wheel! Once on it, players will be able to see the island like never before. Be sure to grab a camera to take it all in! Seriously though, if you ride the wheel long enough, you may find yourself obtaining a cool hidden prize new to this year…

Ticket Shredding

‍Double Tickets isn’t the only new feature being implemented for this year’s Fair. We’re also introducing another brand new feature: Ticket Shredding! Have you ever earned all of your Fair prizes, but you keep playing the games, earning more tickets that you have nothing to do with? Well, this is where Ticket Shredding comes in handy!

Located at the Recycling Plant, Ticket Shredding is a community milestone that allows players to work together to earn even more fair prizes! So, if you have leftover tickets, head on over, shred them, and those shredded tickets will be added to the community goal! There are three bonus prizes, each being unlocked at an unknown checkpoint. Be sure to keep shredding in order to unlock all of them!

Wrapping Up

That just about covers everything, and we’re just getting started! The Fair will be here from today all the way until Sunday, October 19. Immediately afterwards, we have another very special party coming up that’s top secret for now. Oh, and on a less secretive note, the Halloween Party will begin immediately after that party.
